Season is just around the corner here on Hutchinson Island and we are starting to see the car carriers dropping off the cars for the upcoming season. Well we have some new attractions that are coming to the Island. The Square Grouper has broken ground on the Fort Pierce Inlet. The original Square Grouper is located in Jupiter off of Love Street in the Funky Fishing Village. Like all other businesses they are moving North and we have seen the foundation and block work completed here in Fort Pierce. I expect them to be open for season and this will bring more entertainment to Hutchinson Island. Along the Inlet here we have a few other bars and restaurants so this will be a welcome addition to the Inlet area.  Every new business just gives you more options and draws more crowds to Hutchinson Island.

Hutchinson Island Real Estate

The inventory choices here on the island are quite slim. In Ocean Village there are less than 20 properties for sale out of a community of over 1,200 condos & homes. Prices have escalated where a year ago we saw 1 bedroom condos in the 80’s and are now selling for $120,000 plus. A nice little increase for recent buyers. We have seen some record prices in here in many different communities. Oceanhouse has seen a few record price sales but they are still affordable for oceanfront living.  The 3,000 ft beach is a pleasure to walk on and is a great place to spend the winter days. Come see the condos in Ocean Village.

Another large community, Harbour Isle has seen a low number of condos for sale and prices are all above $225,000 now and I expect those same units to hit $250,000 within a year. In Harbour Isle you get 2,000 sq. ft of living space with 10 ft ceilings. The community features fitness center, tennis courts and community pool. Just across the street you can walk to the inlet beach.
