Today while driving Ocean Drive I passed an array of of Christmas lights that I thought were on a condo but to my surprise it was a single family oceanfront home on Hutchinson Island. This is the largest single family home in Martin County and boy does he celebrate the holidays. It must have taken him a month to decorate the house and lawn. This is just a portion of the oceanfront house here on Hutchinson Island. I was told it is a 35,000 sq. ft home and it can be found just North of the Jensen Beach Causeway on Ocean Drive. Make sure you stop by and see this light extravaganza on Hutchinson Island.

Not all oceanfront homes on Hutchinson Island are this size but we do have several oceanfront communities of single family homes here on the island. Communities like Watersong which is an oceanfront community on the North end of Hutchinson Island which features ocean and river views along this narrow strip of island. Presently waterfront lots are available in Watersong and there are about 6-8 homes presently built. They are three stories with a Key West style on narrow lots. The gated community is a must see if you are looking for ocean views.
Sailfish Point offers oceanfront homes in a gated country club atmosphere. The community features a marina, golf, tennis and a full spa and fitness center. Don’t miss the oceanfront restaurant for an enjoyable lunch or dinner meal. On beautiful days they slide open all the glass and you can watch the ocean and feel the breezes.
