With so many attractions and events going on in Fort Pierce I expect to see this area and Vero Beach the next boom town in the upcoming years. As people become tired of the congestion rapidly pushing upwards into Palm Beach County and prices of homes continue to escalate beyond the average buyers budget we shall see the real estate here begin to boom. Palm Beach County is soon becoming the highly disirable areas and the not so disirable areas. What this is doing is pushing prices in places like Boca, Jupiter and the surrounding towns way up.  It is becoming unaffordable for the average retiree and worker.

 

I see more retirees from down South such as Broward and Dade County bypassing Palm Beach and even Martin County and going to Fort Pierce or Vero Beach. The value you are getting in places like the oceanfront community of Ocean Village  are incredible. You can buy a 1 bedroom condo in Ocean Village in the $70’s, yes a beachfront community with golf, tennis and community pools for a very reasonable price. A 2,000 sq. ft home built in 2003 can be purchased in the low $300’s. That home in Jupiter would be $600,000 plus and it won’t be a home built in 2003. A 2 bedroom oceanfront condo can be bought low $300’s. Almost 1,400 sq. ft, garage parking, built in 2003 and 9ft ceilings. This same condo in Jupiter would be $600,000 plus. There are some tremendous values here for beach lifestyles.
